2013 Felt Z85

This is my first true road bike.

To date I have about 750 miles on the Felt and the majority of my thoughts are very positive. Here is a list of the after market items.

Continental Gator Skins
Look Keo Classic pedals
Bontrager cork tape
Brooks Cambium saddle

The Felt Z85 is an endurance aluminum frame with a carbon fork. The bike has Shimano 105 front and rear derailleurs. FSA Omega BB30 50/34T crankset, 12-32T cassette.
The wheelset is Mavic cxp 22 which are okay.....seem to go out of true easily.

I believe the way that Felt can keep the price point low is to use their in-house brand for brakes, cables, hubs, handlebars, saddle, seat post, as well as a few other things. I had some issues with the original brake pads, but it was an easy fix to replace them with some kool stops.......after that no issues.

For a bike in the sub $1,500 range I believe this bike to be an excellent choice.
